The Business Operator acquires information about customers described below when providing services. Please note that the following items represent only examples and some of them may not be applicable to personal information depending on the specific contents of information.
(1) Information Provided by Customers
All information provided by customers to the Business Operator such as name (including furigana readings to show the pronunciation), address, phone numbers (including cell phone and fax numbers), e-mail address, cell phone e-mail address, company/organization name, department/title, company address, other contact information, nickname, date of birth, sex and credit card information.
Information which the Business Operator acquires about customers when third parties designate you as receivers of a gift or a greeting card, such as name (including furigana readings to show the pronunciation), address, phone numbers (including cell phone and fax numbers), e-mail address, cell phone e-mail address, company/organization name, department/title, company address and other contact information (hereinafter referred to as the “Mailing Address Information”).
Personal information which service provider acquired outside the services and provided the Business Operator through certain procedures specified by the Business Operator.
(2) Information Acquired in Relation to Service Use
Information on the transaction history of customers which has been made in purchasing goods or other services provided by the Business Operator or the service provider and which is tied to the information that can identity customers.
Information on subscription of e-mail newsletters etc. issued by the Business Operator.
Information on comments and contents included in the inquiries questionnaires or other forms to evaluate the services customers send the Business Operator or Business Operator by means of e-mail and other communication tools.
(3) Information Automatically Acquired Through Customers’ Visit to Our Website
Information on IP (Internet Protocol) address used when your computer connects to the Internet
Information on the browser type/version, operating system and platform you use which are acquired through your visit to our website and also information on web pages (URL) you browsed, the date and time you visited and displayed or searched products

4. Purpose of Use
We use your personal information which we acquired for the following purposes (hereinafter referred to as “Purposes of Use”). However, as for the mailing address information of third parties you designate, we use it solely for the purposes of (2), (4) and (6) unless we obtain individual consent of such parties.
(1) For customers to use the services as members
When you use the services as a registered member of the Business Operator, your personal information is used to identify you at and after log-in and to display member information automatically on each screen.
(2) For carrying out transactions
When you purchase goods or perform other transactions, your personal information is used for shipment of goods purchased, offering of services, payment settlement, handling of inquiries from you to us or vice versa, ,related after-sales services and other necessary businesses to carry out transactions.
(3) For conducting advertising and marketing activities, etc.
Your personal information is used:
To provide customers with information through e-mail newsletters, etc.
To provide customers with information regarding our services by e-mail or post
To offer customers personalized contents and advertisements based on their personal attributes including sex, age, place of residence, interests/preferences, purchase history and browsing habits on our website

5. Handling of Personal Information, etc.
The Business Operator handles personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law.
When a customer purchases goods or perform other transaction with a service provider, the Business Operator will provide the customer’s personal information to the service provider within the scope necessary for the transaction. This personal data will be managed by the Business Operator. The service provider may use the personal data (except for the mailing address information of third parties designated by customers) not only to carry out the transaction but also to provide information by e-mail newsletters after the transaction, to improve its business operation by analyzing purchases of the customers. The Business Operator obliges, by rules, the service provider to adhere to the Personal Information Protection Law and to handle personal information by giving due consideration to customer’s privacy. However, it does not guarantee the service provider would observe them. For details, please contact the service provider.
(1) The items of the personal data to be provided to the service provider are the same as those of [3. Collection of Personal Information].
(2) The personal data will be provided through the system the Business Operator manages, electronic media such as CD-ROMs and analog media such as print.
(3) If you request that the supplying of Personal Information to the Business Operator be stopped, please take the steps described in [7. Retained Personal Data Confirmation, etc.].
6. Correctness and Security of Data
The Business Operator may ask for your cooperation to ensure your personal data is correct and updated.
The Business Operator is committed to ensure security and use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology in order to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access, destruction, or modification, including credit card information..
7. Retained Personal Data Confirmation etc.
Customers can conduct on our website procedures of (1) confirmation (2) correction, addition, deletion (3) discontinuation of use or (4) discontinuation of provision of personal data to the service provider (such procedures are hereinafter referred to as the “Confirmation, etc.”)
Regarding the retained personal data which cannot be accessed through the Confirmation, etc., customers can request the Business Operator to handle the Confirmation etc. by following proper procedure specified by the Business Operator. Please note that a certain fee will be charged for such requests, and that your request for the Confirmation, etc. may not be accepted by the Business Operator for any reason specified in the Personal Information Protection Law.
As for the request for deletion of personal data, some requests cannot be processed by the nature of the retained data and the Business Operator will handle the matter with discontinuation of use of personal data and cessation of provision of the personal data to the service provider. In such a case, the relevant customer may not be able to use all or a part of the services.
The Business Operator may store backup data in case of data loss due to a computer trouble and irresistible force or a human error. This backup data is, by its nature, unable to be used for the Confirmation etc.
Customer’s use of any service the Business Operator provides shall be regarded as consent to the [7. Retained Personal Data Confirmation, etc.].

(4) the data which may interfere prevention, suppression or investigation of crimes and maintenance of public safty and order if its presence or absence is known.
